TenzaOne Marketplace Rulebook

Marketplace Rulebook v1.1 — Listing standards, verification, enforcement, and fees.

Overview & Principles Listing Rules Verification Labels Enforcement Pricing & Subscriptions Transparency & Compliance

Overview

The TenzaOne Marketplace operates as a regulated platform for voluntary carbon credit instruments. Three enforcement areas govern all activity: listing standards, verification labels, and suspension/removal. Projects progress through a defined certification track from initial intake to credit issuance, with DAO oversight at key decision points.

Scope & Phasing

Four operational phases define the marketplace roadmap:

  • Phase 0 — Discovery: Project profiling, AI assessment, cooperative intake
  • Phase 1 — Funding: RWA contracts, investor matching, ERC-1155 internal records
  • Phase 2 — Pre-licensing: ERC-3643 tokenisation, KYC/AML on-chain, secondary trading
  • Phase 3 — Credit Trading (2028): Spot market, order books, automated settlement

Risk scoring (1–5 scale) is assessed across legal/rights, safeguards, MRV complexity, fraud/AML, and delivery risk for every listing.

Credibility Principles

Eight non-negotiable principles govern all marketplace activity:

  • Truth in Labelling — all claims evidence-based, no greenwashing
  • Environmental Integrity — additionality, baseline, quantification, permanence, leakage, MRV
  • Human Rights — no projects causing harm to communities
  • Independent Assurance — third-party validation at key milestones
  • Transparency — public integrity log, annual audits, aggregate statistics
  • Compliance by Design — regulatory alignment built into platform architecture
  • Consistent Enforcement — rules applied uniformly regardless of project origin
  • Conflict Controls — quarterly attestations, recusal rules, COI register

Listing Types

Seven listing categories are supported on the marketplace:

  • Project Profiles — AI-assessed project pages with readiness scores
  • Fixed Finance Offers — fixed-interest lending instruments
  • Royalty Funding — revenue-based financing with repayment cap
  • Credit Pre-Purchase — forward contracts on future carbon credits
  • Tokenised Rights (Phase 2) — ERC-3643 digital securities
  • Tokenised Units (Phase 3) — tradeable carbon credit units
  • Data Records — DePIN verification data packages

Developer Requirements

All project developers must complete:

  • KYB (Know Your Business) screening
  • UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) disclosure
  • International sanctions check
  • Evidence pack submission per listing checklist

Prohibited Activities

Fraud, illegal activity, human rights harm, unresolved land tenure disputes, and double counting are grounds for immediate removal.

Restricted Categories

AFOLU (Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use), high-risk jurisdictions, and contested baselines require enhanced due diligence and LIC (Listing & Integrity Committee) review.

Verification Label Taxonomy

Three categories of labels track every aspect of a project’s status:

Identity & Governance (5 labels)

KYB verified, UBO disclosed, sanctions cleared, developer track record assessed, governance structure confirmed.

MRV & Certification Lifecycle (11 stages)

ADraft → Pre-Qualified → AI Pre-Assessment
BMethodology Identified → VVB Engaged
CValidation Progress → Monitoring Progress
DVerification Progress → Registered
EIssued
FRetired

Unit / Instrument Representation (6 labels)

Forward contract, revenue share, fixed income, equity stake, verified credit unit, retired credit.

Labels have defined expiry and downgrade triggers. A label that expires without renewal is automatically downgraded to the previous tier.

CVIT Score & KPIs

The Carbon Value & Impact Tracker (CVIT) aggregates 11 KPIs into a single project quality metric (G/A/R rated):
